How do we know that Tyler is part of our family?
He doesn't enjoy singing (unless it's purpose is to be silly or make a complete fool out of yourself...then we're completely cool with singing our pretty little heads off).
In fact, his exact quote is "I only sing when I have to."
We have seen progress, though.
In Kindergarten, Tyler glared and growled at me the entire time (and I have video to prove it).
Now, in 3rd grade...his mouth was slightly open and I could sense (just a little bit) that he was actually enjoying himself. But don't tell him that I told you this because he would adamantly deny it!
I love watching the progression of my children and I'm proud of every little step they make.

And cute he is. Pretty soon he will be singing a solo. Can't wait for that picture.
He is such a handsome boy. Your posts make me smile. I love heraing about all the kids.
You are just too funny! Your posts are great! I love your take on life!
Have a great day!
Way to go Tyler. My kids are the same way. They don't mind singing at home but for like the primary program at church they just stand up there and look goofy. I'll ask them why they didn't sing and they will say, I'm to shy to sing. Yeah sure.
So cute! Was this a president's day concert? Costumes and all--your school must have lots of $$.
