I'm trying to re-do my blog all by myself (meaning no help from my husband or Denise!!). I can do it. I know I can.
I'm not getting this whole coding stuff, and I'm trying to follow the directions from sites such as Cutest Blog on the Block, but it's just not going my way.
User error.
I'm 100% sure.
Where do you go to get your instructions on blog design?
I need some tips.
Fill me in, please.

I've always just followed the instructions and it worked out, but I've also only ever done THE most basic of things with my blog-- changed the background, added a picture for the banner. Nothing very fancy. So I'm afraid I'm not much help... Good luck!

I just did mine. Blogger had changed a few things since I had last done it and it made things difficult until I figured it out.
Go to your settings page and scroll down almost to the bottom. (hold on, i'm gonna go check the exact thing you have look for...) lol
okay near the bottom of the first page (titled 'basic'), you'll see "post editor". I couldn't get the code to work in one of the two modes (updated & old). As soon as I switched, it worked perfectly when I followed directions on Cutest Blog on the Block. I don't remember which setting was the one that worked though. I've been updating my blog. The "updated" version doesn't allow video uploading, but it's much faster uploading photos, so I've been switching back and forth between the two. Hope my rambling helps...

I don't have any advice - I use a pre-made blog format from apple. But I love the pictures of your family at the top of the blog!
I use Joe, sorry. You can use him too if you want. :)
I would try http://www.w3schools.com/html/default.asp (for HTML) and http://www.w3schools.com/css/default.asp (for CSS). It's the best way to learn basic HTML and CSS and very quick. It helped me a ton.
