My parents get the Patience Award of the week, in my opinion. Having 12 grandchildren and 7 adults staying in one house can cause A LOT of chaos, but they took it all in stride (lucky for them, they still had to work during the day)!
I think this sweet moment made it all worth it, though. My mom had her birthday on the 14th the kids insisted that she have a cake (we didn't let them know that their Mimi doesn't even like cake...shhhhh). All the kids lined up and sang her Happy Birthday and of course in typical mom fashion--she cried.

WOW that is a lot of boys! OUr family is the opposite. Ton of girls and just 2 boys! It is so nice to have family close so you can take each others kids home. Great for the kids to play with their cousins.
