We all have our own way of handling frustration...
Tyler is a slammer and a stomper.
Jared is our crier.
Evan huffs and puffs (literally).
Anna lays on her back and screams.
Rob goes into quiet mode.
I do all of the above (Drama Queen!), plus some.
Yesterday, I got to work and took my frustrations out on my front yard. First, I made a quick run to McD's for the largest size Diet Coke they had. This started the energy flowing. Then I dug out the ugly brick border. Anna and Evan played around at my feet. Luckily when they started getting bored a neighbor girl came over and played with them, just for fun! So, I was able to pull out some of the overgrown (and ugly) bushes. However, my frustration got the best of me--or should I say, it got the best of our shovel. The broken handle obviously put an end to my day of yard work. So, I have yet, another unfinished project laying around. Which, ironically, is pretty much the reason why I was frustrated in the first place! Love it.

Way to go on the diet coke. That's how I deal. I'm on my second one of the day today, it's going to be like a five coke day. Hey, thanks for the chocolates the other day! So good.
I am a hider. I hide out from the rest of the world until I feel human again.
BTW, your survey looks fine from here. Even after the vote.
WOW glad to know I am not the only one that freaks out when I am mad. Lets see..... a slammer, fit thrower, silenter. YES. I even get on my back and scream like ANNA. OK girl. You have to show me how to make one of those name frames. I want to do that for my MIL for Mothers Day. Don't have a lot of time do I? Well it will have to be for both MIL and FIL for Mothers/Fathers Day. SO now I feel better knowing I have more time. :)
Totally understand. I've been outside taking out my frustration for three week now. Call in Judy Ford for professional advise.
You'll LOVE Tulum, and Beleze underwater life is amazing. How much fun. If I were skinny, we'd join you.
Why does that happen?
Is it the "Cosmic" way of the universe?
We are frustrated and then something occurs that keeps it that way even though we try to change the problem.
Sigh...
I totally can relate.
Well its a great new excuse to go shopping at home depot. The least you can get is a new shovel =)
I have a shovel you can use to finish your project if you promise not to break it. I take my anger out on cucumbers and celery, or my kids. (not in the same way)I need to go get more cucumbers and celery just in case.
